Fender Stratocaster 1983 w/ hardcase Vintage
Here is one cool strat . Built in 1983 , the "ölympic white" finish has well and truly aged over the years to the brilliant almost cream/yellow finish you see here . It plays great and sounds at strat as can be !
A product of the Dan Smith era at Fender, the two-knob strat featured global volume/tone controls, a pickguard-mounted jack and top-loading blade-style tremolo bridge. The small headstock, 4 bolt neck and modern tuners appeared in 1981 and were welcomed improvements over the 1970's designs. The Standard Stratocaster (as this model was then known) was the highest quality Stratocaster fender had made in over a decade.
It is in really great condition with a couple of minor marks . The pickguard has been changed with the original single ply one in the case . The pots and cap have been replaced at some time also .
All in all a very nice Vintage stratocaster from a great era from Fender . Includes hardcase as pictured .
