Description

Here we have an exceptionally good condition one owner Ryoji No 20 classical guitar built in Japan in 1977 !

This guitar was handmade and signed by Master Luthier Ryoji Matsuoka in 1977. It was the lowest model in Matsuoka’s classical guitar lineup. It was made with “laminated” top and “laminated” b/s. It is however beautifully sounding high grade instrument that can put into shame many modern era “all solid woods” guitars. You may ask “how is that possible?”. Ryoji Matsuoka, just like many other Japanese luthiers was able to make a wonderful instrument and sell it at very moderate price. In order to achieve such goal he had to use less expensive, but not necessarily less grade materials and add some simple but very efficient feature while constructing such guitar.

The overall condition of this guitar is very good with a few marks below the sound hole from fingernails / picking . There are a couple of other very very minor marks .

The guitar offers great volume, great response and great tonality, with sweet and colorful trebles, deep resonating basses, all well balanced, with absolutely great note clarity and separation, and great sustain. This is not a beginner’s guitar. This is at least high-grade student/player instrument.

It includes it's original hardcase w / key !
