Built in the year 2000 this Gibson R0 is a true pleasure machine ! The top is amazing and the pickups absolutely wail !
This one has had a Pro historic spec makeover done by master luthier Russel Groves . It has been , the Fretboard has been replaced with a Brazilian rosewood board. Hot hide glue used. 50s truss rod was installed. Trapezoid celluloid inlays and tortoise side dots installed.
Refretted with Jescar FW51100. Top re-carved closer to 1960 spec. Guitar fully refinished. New wiring harness installed. CTS TVT pots.
The neck is super comfortable in the hands . Now this guitar has been played and has lots of natural wear which we LOVE . It's a mid weight guitar . A truly amazing guitar from a great era of Gibson Custom Shops . It has to be seen and played and heard .
