So the story goes that this guitar (owned by a respected jazz guitarist) was put together in the late 70's by Chris Kinman . It came to him with a very badly finished gold aftermarket body and so Chris put one of his bodies on it and so ..... OK , so let's call this a Custom Stratocaster with some very tasty pieces on it ! The Original Fender Stratocaster neck is from 1964 . It looks and feels amazing - chances are it's had a very old nitro refin and it looks great . A refret has occured also at some stage so this neck is ready to go for another 60+ years . The Kluson deluxe single line tuners are original and function well . We believe the hardtail bridge to be a 1970's Fender . It includes it's said to be original L series neck plate. Heavily modified original pickguard has several holes and cracks in it - the pictures help tell the story on that . Pickups .... to be continued ..........................................
