Douglas and Dorothy Drouyn created the foundation of Australian drum making. The small factory at Stones Corner in Brisbane is now a memory; but the drums they produced are an enduring part of Australia’s musical history.

This particular kit was built towards the end of the 1980's in a Storm Blue swirl finish . It has the orignal owners name along with serial number and the date he bought it on a "badge" on each drum apart from the smallest tom .
Consisting of 22 kick 10 , 12 , 13 , 16 and 18" toms. It also includes a later Yamaha steel snare 14x6 .
The overall condition of the kit is sound . It has been played and therefore has marks and abrasions . It has had the obligutory Pearl tom mount on the kick ! Gibraltar floor tom leg mounts . Some of the drums have dampeners and the 12, 13 , 16 and 18 toms have the evans hydraulic blue drum heads . Hardware is a mixed bag with Pearl and Gibraltar .
Definately a must see kit , ideal for gigging or studio or just to have as a piece of Australian Drumming history . Includes bags although the kick drum zip is broken . Pictures help form description .
